I believe that parents are the child's first and most important teachers in their life. I am fortunate to be a part of helping to develop your children into life-long learners. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I absolutely love what I do.
I have my BA in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Early Childhood Education from the University of Iowa. I also have my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College. This is my 15th year with LPS. I began my teaching career at Saratoga as a preschool teacher for 2 years before going to Brownell to teach Kindergarten for 6 years. I have been back at Saratoga for 7 years and I love being a Saratoga Star!
