I am Kevin Bernard Michael Mulldoon Eckhout. I was born in 1963 and have experienced the turbulent 60's Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam tragedy, Watergate, Disco, Ronald Reagan's "Reaganomics", the personal computer boon, reality t.v., and now social networking. Some of my favorite activities are family get-togethers, camping, fishing, marathon running, playing Texas Hold'em, and riding my Harley. I have three sons, Alan, Nick, and Michael, and one daughter, Jennifer.
My path to becoming an educator came later in life than most teachers. I began teaching when I was 30 years old. Prior to that, I had been a farmer, a business manager, and worked in a counseling center. My wide variety of educational experiences is also a bit unusual. I have undergraduate degrees in Business Management, Psychology, and Elementary Education and Masters Degrees in Educational Leadership and American History.
