My name is Kerry Janike! I have been a middle school teacher for 22 years, but in three different states. I love to travel! I have been lucky to experience life and culture in: Mexico, France, Spain, Great Britain, Thailand, and Italy. I feel that these journys bring light to my teaching.
I outside of school I enjoy the outdoors. That would inlude hiking, exercise, and sports. I have three children which also keep me busy: Kate(22), Carly(19), and Aaron(17).
Professional Experience
I am a Lincolnite! I graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1985. I then proceeded to the University of Nebraska for my bachelors dregee. I am certified to teach both Social Studies and English and have taught both. If you asked prior students they would say my class is interconnection between these subjects. I do also have my masters in Curriculm and Instruction which I completed just after my bachelors dregee.
