Hello! My name is Kara Savage and I'm currently an Intervention Teacher here at Cavett. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and making sure they feel valued and cared for.
I'm married to Frank and we have two sons as well as two girl, fur babies. I love being outdoors in nature. Anytime I can get away with my family for a hiking adventure is a big bonus and certainly treasured time.
I had a wonderful, 25 year career at Norris Elementary teaching First Grade. My time at Norris afforded me a vast variety of opportunitites in leadership through many committees, both building and district wide.
My undergrad work in Early Childhood and Middle Grades Education was at UNL and Peru State College. My Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and additional hours were completed at Doane College.
