I am from the small town of Ord, Nebraska, home of the Chanticleers! There are several educators in my family, all of whom have been incredible influencers during my pursuit of education. I began teaching Science at LPS in 2020.

I enjoy physical activities, playing piano, reading, and so much more. Most importantly, I enjoy being a life-long learner! I strive to EMPOWER the next generation of thinkers. Every student has a voice that deserves to be heard, a skill-set that deserves to be utilized and developed, and a story that deserves to be celebrated! In my classroom, ALL students will belong.

Go Spartans!

Professional Experience

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Science Education.

During my time at UNL, I worked as a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant for five semesters. I taught weekly Recitations and held office hours in the Chemistry Resource Center. I also held review sessions that maxed out at nearly 200 students!
