My husband PJ and I have 4 children: Axsher (7), Kit (4), and Webb (2), and Hawkens (3 weeks). Axsher started K1st grade this year and Kit is in Preschool. We have a dog Ruppert (Roop) our English Setter who joined our family on July 5th 2021. I can't wait to see what exciting adventures this year brings!
Professional Experience
I began teaching in Norfolk NE in 2006. While there I taught math and coached volleyball, basketball and track at the high school. In 2009 I moved to Omaha. Here I taught math at Beveridge Magnet Middle school and coached volleyball and track at Burke High school. I moved to Lincoln when I was married in 2013 and taught math and science at Mickle Middle School. From 2018 - 2022 I taught 4th grade at Morely Elementary. Then in the fall of 2022 I took advantage of the opportunity to return to taching math at Park Middle school.
Over the years I have completed two masters degrees one in Curriculum and Instruction and a second in Educational Adminstration.
