I experienced most of my childhood in Lincoln, Nebraska. I grew up attending LPS schools where I grew a real admiration for what classroom teachers do. My math journey through the years was the most profound to me and I personally believe that I had the most significant growth within my math classrooms. This has resulted in the passion I have towards the learning of math itself. Now, as an educator today, I aspire to be a geniune, caring, and as positive of a mathematics teacher as I can that believes anyone can learn and do mathematics well!
Professional Experience
I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) in 2020 where I did my student teaching at North Star High School. Previously, I had additional teaching experience through my practicums which were at Southeast High School and Lincoln High School. I've also worked as a Learning Assistant at UNL for a few years. I am now in my third year of teaching full-time to teach math to all the wonderful 7th graders at Irving Middle School! I'm looking forward to creating great experiences and memories at Irving!
