Math homework is due every day!

Spelling lists come home on Monday and tests are on Friday!

Ms. Lisa Kapustka was born and raised in Colorado.  She moved to Lincoln to attend college at the University of Nebraska.  Lisa graduated from the University with a degree in Elementary Education.  Lisa also received her Masters from the University of Nebraska in Curriculum and Instruction.  Ms. Kapustka has one son named Dylan.  Dylan is an active boy that loves the outdoors and is involved in archery.   He is 14 years old and is in the 9th grade.  Lisa and Dylan have one huge, yellow lab named Thunder.

This is Ms. Kapustka's first year teaching at Maxey Elementary! She has taught sixteen years of second grade and looped with her kids for one year teaching third grade, all at Prescott Elementary.  Lisa loves teaching second graders!  She enjoys that her students are learning independce while learning to read and write, yet second graders still love to give and receive hugs!  Ms. Kapustka enjoys reading, writing, traveling, shopping, spending time with her family, and teaching!
