 I had the privilege of helping to open Schoo Middle School in 2009. Since that time, I have taught both 7th and 8th grade social studies and served as the Social Studies Liaison. Before coming to Schoo, I taught middle school social studies for five years at Lincoln Lutheran. I completed my student teaching in 8th grade at Scott Middle School and found this is what I love! When I am not teaching, I like to read, travel, shop, watch sports (especially the Huskers and Green Bay Packers) and spend time with my family. My husband Joel and I were married in 2006 and have a son named Sam.

Professional Experience

After graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School, I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, with an endorsement in Social Sciences. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Historical Studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
