Hi! My name is Laura Deans. To best support my students’ education, I have continued my own over the years. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a major in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English Language Learners. I also received my master’s degree in Historical Students from Nebraska Wesleyan University as well as the Primarily Math program at UNL. My most recent venture into learning was the Summer Science Soybean Institute.

My husband (Jeff) and I stay busy chasing around our two “kids”— our 6-year-old son (Landon) and our 9-year-old English Pointer named Margo. Kid "#3" will join us this November. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, coffee, cheese, the Farmer’s Market, reading and traveling.

I look forward to working with all the new and familiar families during this exciting school year.
