My journey to now had me graduating from college wanting to be a zookeeper. I worked at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo before realizing education is where I belong. Working in the media center I have the joy of working with all the staff and students. I love reading and being able to help people discover their love of reading and also in navigating the waters of our 21st Century. I am married and we have a daughter, son and dog. My interests include reading, giraffes, travel, and being with friends and family.
