I grew up in Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School. I attended Southeast Community College in Beatrice where I received an Associate's Degree. I then went on to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. My husband and I have a farming operation west of Beatrice. We have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. I am happy to be at Schoo Middle School and working with one of the finest staffs in Nebraska!
After graduating from UNL I began teaching 7th grade social studies at Goodrich Middle School. I was there for seventeen years and enjoyed the students, families, and staff immensely. I was hired as a counselor for Lincoln High the summer of 2012. I loved being a counselor and part of the Lincoln High community for the last 4 years. (Go Links!) Currently I am the 8th grade counselor at Schoo Middle School. It feels good to back in the middle school environment. I am enjoying getting to know my students and their families, and am looking forward to the many wonderful memories about to be built here!
