About Me

I believe that all students and people become more well-rounded with education in languages. It makes someone become a better member of the global society. Through use of a new language, it opens someone up to new experiences.

Also, with that in mind, you will never truly learn a language if you don't use it. So make sure you use that language as often as possible.

I grew in Lincoln, attending Pyrtle Elementary, Lux Middle School and Lincoln East High School. After that I went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and recieved a bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism, and have worked on a Masters of Arts in World Language Education.

As a child I lived in a household with both culture for the USA and Colombia. I have lived in Spain -- Zaragoza -- and Colombia as well as the United States.

I am currently an avid runner, having ran 7 half marathons and a full marathon in the past three years.

I am also the current JV Boys Soccer coach for the Northeast Rockets.

Professional Experience

I have taught at Lincoln Northeast since 2010-2011 school year. I have also coached soccer for the school since the 2010-2011 season.
