I grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota, I loved school and always wanted to be a teacher when I was little. My path wandered a little and when I graduated from high school I decided to attend the University of Mary, in Bismarck, Noth Dakota to be come a physical therapist. After a year of college I decied to return to my childhood hopes of becoming a teacher, and I am so glad I made the decision to follow my true passion in life - the education of young children. I taught preschool for 9 years at Everett Elementary, Belmont Elementary and for a few years in San Antonio, Texas. I have always loved working with students who are learning a new language, which has prompted my recent move to teach ELL classes at West Lincoln.
I am currently studying at UNL to obtain my Master's in Education.
