My name is Maxwell Morrissey and this is 2022-2023 school year is my 5th at Moore Middle School! Originally from Tecumseh, Nebraska, I graduated from Tecumseh Public Schools in 2006. I attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I received a degree in Elementary Education & Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-6 in 2011. Shortly thereafter, I was a resource teacher at West Point Public Schools in West Point, Nebraska where I taught 3-6 math, reading, and social skills. I spent the last four years teaching elementary special education at Fredstrom Elementary here in LPS. Special Education is near and dear to my heart because of my family and experiences.

In my free time, I enjoy playing, writing and collecting music, reading, canoeing, camping and spending time with my friends and family, as well as playing with my corgi, Muddy Waters, and my daughter, Ruby!
