About Me

"Elemental music is never just music. It's bound up with movement, dance and speech, and so it is a form of music in which one must participate, in which one is involved not as a listener but as a co-performer." -Carl Orff

I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. I went to Rousseau and Maxey Elementary, Lux Middle School, and then Lincoln Southeast (Go Knights!). I then received my bachelor's at Doane University and graduated there in 2017.

Professional Experience

Madeline is a 2017 graduate of Doane University. She has always had a passion for teaching children and music. Madeline has completed her Orff Level I and Level II training. This training encourages creativity, movement, singing, playing, and much more in the music classroom. This philosophy allows students to take ownership of their musicianship. This will be Madeline's 3rd year at Riley Elementary where she was nominated for the Inspire Award last year. Go rams!
