I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education and Elementary Education  from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I have taught at Maxey since it opened, prior to that I taught 4 years at Rousseau Elementary and one year in Ogallala. I love working with the families at Maxey and helping kids become life long lovers  of learning.  I have a real passion for teaching writing because I love to see students grow as writers, and write their treasures to remember forever.   

My husband's name is Todd and he is a firefighter for the city of Lincoln.   We enjoy traveling and seeing new sites and visiting family.
