My name is Chelley Peterson.  I am a second grade teacher at Zeman Elementary.  I grew up in a rural community near Fremont, Nebraska.  I earned my teaching degrees from UNL in elementary and special education.  I began my teaching career at Zeman as a resource teacher.  I have also taught 3rd and 4th grades, as well as my current position in grade 2.  I have been at Zeman for over 30 years.  I love our school! 

My husband Lee and I own a trucking business and have three children.  Our oldest son Chase, graduated from UNL and is employed in Fremont, Nebraska at Land O' Lakes Purina where he is a plant supervisor.   Our daughter Caitlin ,is a graduate of Doane and is a 2nd grade teacher in Bennet.  She also has a part in coaching volleyball, baskeball, and track.  Our youngest son Curtis, recently graduated from SCC and is emplyed at a local business as a welder.   We love living in the country and spending time with our family and friends.
