I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Millard West High School.    I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I declared a major in Special Education.  I student taught at Culler Middle School in the Life Skills program and accepted a full time teaching position at Mickle in 2017 doing the same.  I have been here ever since!

I have spent one summer teaching abroad in Mumbai, India and another summer teaching abroad in Quito, Ecuador.  Both schools I taught at were schools for individuals with disabilities.  It was amazing!

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, being active outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Huskers!

Professional Experience

I graduated from the Univerity of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2017.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Education: Special Education Mild/Moderate Disabilities (7-12).  I also graduated with a minor in Psychology and a minor in International Studies.
