About Me

I was born and raised and Lincoln, love Husker sports, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, traveling, helping to create a better world, and indulging a host of nerdy interests (reading, science and technology, history, archeology, sci-fi movies…).

I was born in Lincoln and have lived here almost my entire life.  As long as I can remember I've been fascinated with the workings of the human mind and behavior.  And I’ve always enjoyed working with kids and teens.  Being a School Psychologist has allowed me to apply all of those interests toward helping students, parents and other school staff in supporting the development of kids in our schools.

Professional Experience

I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and followed that by completing my Masters in School Psychology, and doctorate in Psychological and Cultural studies (both also from UNL).  I started working as a School Psychologist for LPS in 1998.  Since then I’ve worked at Hartley, Rousseau, Fredstrom, Prescott, and Kahoa elementary schools, Culler, Dawes, and Goodrich middle schools, and North Star high school.
