I have been a teacher for over 23 years. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first, third and sixth grade. My husband Mark and I moved to Lincoln over 18 years ago. We had previously lived in South Dakota and my husband's job at State Farm Insurance brought us "home." I grew up in Wayne, NE and I am a UNL graduate. I am a mom of three kids: Nathan, Brooke and Jordan. We love Lincoln and the school system is EXCELLENT! It has been wonderful working in such a great school district and elementary school!
Professional Experience
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have taught for 23 years in various grade levels. I began my career in Grand Island, NE and then moved to the Sioux Falls, South Dakota school district and taught for 6 years. I am beginning my 14th year of teaching with Lincoln Public Schools.
