I had always been involved with athletics and was introduced to the athletic training profession after incurring injuries in high school. I ran track and cross country and played soccer. I played 4 years of soccer at SIUE while working on my degree.  I continued my soccer career after graduation in Dec 2000 playing on an amateur soccer team that won a National Championship.  I returned to my home town, Springfield, IL, to continue working at an outreach Sports Medicine and Sports Performance Clinic (AthletiCare).  Following my NATABOC certification in 2002 I worked at the University of Illinois at Springfield as their 1st full-time Athletic Trainer. I am married and have 2 boys.  We move to Lincoln in 2006 and I started at LSW in the fall of 2007.
