After graduating from the University of Nebraska -Lincoln in May 1991 I took my first teaching job in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991-1992. After getting married in August 1992 I stayed in Lincoln, I have taught 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st and kindergarten. I have spent the majority of my 20+years in education in first and second grade. I have taught at Holmes, Maxey and Cavett Elementary schools in Lincoln.
I have been married to Brian since 1992, We have three children, Taylor, Trevor and Tate. We enjoy traveling and going to sporting events as a family.
I received a BS in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from UNL in May 1992. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane in 2000. I enjoy learning and look forward to reading and taking new classes as often as possible.
