Hello, my name is Sarah Brumm. My career in art education began in 1995. I love being a part of the Panther family here at Pyrtle. My husband, Dan, and I enjoy spending free time traveling with our camper. Our son, Noah, is in high school. I also have three daughters in their 20's, Siana, Maiah, and Mikayla. A couple of years ago, our family grew with the adoption of our rescue dog, Sal (Salvador Doggy).
I graduated from Concordia University in Seward with a K-12 Art Education degree. I attended Northern Illinois University for some of my undergraduate education. Some of my graduate courses were through Marygrove College in Michigan and Doane in Nebraska. My teaching experiences include teaching art at various levels including high school, preK-8, 3-5, and K-6 in the Detroit, Michigan area in parochial, charter, and public school settings. I subbed for five years after returning to my home state of Nebraska. I have been teaching elmentary art in LPS since 2010. I started at McPhee and have been at Pyrtle since 2015. Go Panthers!
