Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
I am thrilled to be teaching Reading at Mickle this year. I have taught at North Star High School for the last 16 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist. For the last 10 of those years, I co-taught a Reading/Language Interventions (RLI) class. The RLI class is what led me to pursue a full-time Reading position at Mickle.
My husband and I will celebrate 19 years of marriage this fall. We have two sons: one of whom will be a sixth grader at Mickle. Our older son will be a junior at East High School. As a family, we enjoy attending sporting events (especially baseball games!), and we spend most of our free time at our sons' practices and games.
Please feel free to contact me if you have comments, questions, or concerns about your student in my class. I look forward to working with you to make this a fantastic year!
