I grew up in Louisville, KY in a family of educators. My two brothers are teachers and my father, 2 uncles, and grandmother also taught school. My father was my biggest influence on my decision to become a teacher. I loved watching former students greet him with such kindness. "Hello, Mr. O'Toole!" I was always so proud that he was such a great teacher.
My husband, Jon, and I have two sons Hunter and Griffin who are 30 and 27. We also have 2 Goldendoodles, Henry and Farley.
I enjoy reading, swimming laps, skiing, playing tennis, and walking my dogs.
