I was born in California, but moved to Lincoln when I turned 12. I attended Scott Middle School and Southwest High School. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UNL and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching from UNL as well. I really struggled with mathematics throughout my middle and high school years. The hard work and inspiration given to me by my teachers fostered my love for mathematics and the teaching of it. I know how it feels to not understand what is written on the page in front of you and to feel like you can't be successful. However, it is my job and my goal to help every student understand that they can be successful in the classroom.
