I grew up in Columbus, Nebraska with two loving parents and three older brothers. I always enjoyed being around children and spent many hours as a child playing and babysitting for the neighbor kids. When I graduated from high school I went to UNL and got a degree in elementary education. After finishing my degree, I became a substitute teacher for a year. After that, I taught 6th grade at St. Mary's for 3 years. During those years, I got my master's degree from Peru State University. After earning my master's degree, I moved to Campbell and taught 4th grade for 2 years and 3rd grade for 5 years. I am currently teaching Reading Recovery and Intervetion. I am also married and have four children: Ginger 13, Leo 11, Henry 2, and Emmet 4 mos.
