After graduating from the University of Nebraska in 1993, I began my career with Lincoln Public Schools in as a Special Education Teacher at Clinton Elementary (1993-2009).  I spent 15 of my 17 years there teaching 4th grade.  During this time, I received a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College.

From 2009-2013, I worked for the Lincoln Public School's Special Education Department.  I completed the Doane Educational Leadership program while working there.

In 2013, I became the Eastridge Elementary Coordinator.  Ths is a position I held until 2017 when I moved to the office next door as Principal.
