My name is Tori Hupf and I am your child's teacher this year. I have been teaching in LPS for 27 years. I have been employed at Roper Elementary since it opened. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction degree from UN-L. I consider myself a lifelong learner. I love teaching at Roper. I believe we have a great student body and talented teachers.

My husband and I have two children. Our daughter is a UN-L graduate student  in Speech Pathology. Our son is a sophomore at UN-L, majoring in Marketing. As a family we enjoy traveling, water and snow skiing, bicycling, reading, and watching movies. We have spent time in Mexico and Jamaica learning about other countries and cultures.

I know that students benefit when parents and teachers work together. I look forward to collaborating with you to make this a rewarding year for your child. I have big plans for this school year, and I am excited to help your child grow academically and socially.

We are off to a good start of building a community of learners in room 820. I know this will be an exciting year of growth for all us. Please contact me at thupf@lps.org or 402-436-1170 if you ever have any concerns, comments, or questions. Let the learning commence and GOOOO ROCKETS!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Hupf
