I am a 1998 graduate of David City Aquinas High School. While in high school I participated in football, basketball, track and baseball all four years. During that time I was a member of 2 state football championships and 1 state basketball championship.
After high school I attended Peru State College for a year and a half before transferring and finishing my Business Administration degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After working as a Service Manager for 3 years at Wells Fargo I went back to school and received my teaching degree from UNL. In the Winter of 2016 I received my Master's in Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
My wife Sydney and I were married in June of 2011 and have been blessed with 2 daughters, Amelia and Taytem, along side my son Austin. We are so excited to be a part of the Lincoln North Star family.
I have been teaching and coaching since 2006. My career started as a Business Teacher at Lincoln Southwest High School. While teaching at LSW I became involved in coaching football and basketball. I was also the DECA advisor.
After six years at Lincoln Southwest my wife and I moved to Omaha and I became the Head Football Coach at Omaha Benson High School. During my time at Benson I coached track as well. I was fortunate to be a part of the establishment of career academies at Benson, including helping start the Business and Entrepreneurship Academy. I was the DECA advisor the last three years as well as the Business Academy Lead Teacher.
