My passion has always been creating and facilitating learning experiences for students. I believe in inspiring people to learn and grow in lots of areas. I consider myself a helper. That's why I love my role in special education. I always work as hard as I can to bring students to a place of growth in their learning.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in TESOL, which I utilized teaching ELL. I recently completed the Teacher Preparation program at Walden University in Minneapolis, MN giving me my Master's Degree and Teaching License in Special Education. While student teaching, I devised and taught 4 adjusted Language Arts classes. Since then, I have worked at Hartley Elementary as a Special Education teacher focusing on literacy and math. I am delighted to be at Brownell!
