I am a mother of 3 grown children (1 boy and 2 girls) and a grandmother of 3.  My family, and the children I work with, bring joy to me everyday.  Working with kids is my favorite thing to do!  I love to plan and host family meals every week to keep my family in close contact. When I'm not busy with family or work, I also enjoy reading, crocheting, camping, and watching Netflix.

Professional Experience

I am originally from Iowa and received my teaching degree from Iowa State Unitversity.  I have lived in Lincoln for the past 24 years and have completed my education with Master's Level courses at UNO, UNL, and Weslyn.  I am certified in Elementary Education with a specialty in Early Childhood, Business, and Language Arts.  I have taught every subject at every grade level K-6.  I am fortunate to have taught Humanities at a 6th grade level for the past 19 years.
