As a Lincoln native I have experienced first hand what an incredible community and education this city offers. I graduated from Lincoln East High School in 2005 and just couldn't bring myself to leave, so I attend the University of Nebraska.
One thing I've learned about myself over the years is that I'm at my best while working with students. I was a youth pastor for ten years before I entered the education world and I have coached wrestling since leaving high school. I have always thrived off of positive relationships with students. I love teaching because it allows me to be in the students' world and if I can be a positive presense for them in the midst of the difficulties of growing up, I sleep well at night knowing that my time is well spent.
I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010 with a degree in Middle-Level Education. I formally began teaching in 2016 and have been loving it ever since.
