About Me

I began teaching out in Lexington, Nebraska at Lexington High School in 2001.  I taught out in Lexington until 2020 when my spouse was able to begin her dream job in Lincoln. This career change brought us both to Lincoln in the spring of 2020 and so here we are!  I have taught Spanish levels 1-5 including dual credit college courses at the high school. I have also taught computer science and computer programming along with a freshmen-only course called Foundations of Ledership. I love attending school activities and have served as a sponsor of several school activities, dances, clubs as well as being part of the Lexington High School Speech and Forensics team for six years.  It has been quite the journey and I can't wait to teach at Lincoln East High School!

Professional Experience

Graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with my BA in Spanish in 1999.

Received my education/Spanish endorsement in Spanish in 2001.

Received my MA in Educational Technology Leadership in 2014.

I am also a Google School Level 1 Certified Educator.
