About Me

Hello Families,

My name is Tabatha Olson and I am excited about teaching your student.  A little information about me.  I am originally from Okoboji, IA where I graduated from high school in 2004.

After college, I moved to Lincoln, NE where I have been since 2009.  I have a son named Maddox who keeps us very busy with his sporting events.  In my spare time, my husband Jeremy and I like to play sand volleyball and go to the gym.

Professional Experience

I attended Wayne State College from 2005-2009 and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.

After graduation, I was a substitute teacher for 3.5 years in LPS and surrounding school districts.  In November of 2012, I started teaching at Pershing Elementary in 4th grade and continued that job until May of 2014.  At that time, I became a member of McPhee Elementary where I taught 4th grade for 6 years.

During my time at McPhee, I received my ELL endorsment from Concordia University.

During the summer of 2018, I started my work towards my masters at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and have graduated as of May of 2020 with a Masters in Instructional Technology Leadership.

New for the 2020-2021 school year, I will be teaching 6th/7th grade Computer Science at Schoo Middle School.
