About Me

I am the Special Education Coordinator here at Campbell. This will be my sixth year working at Campbell. Previously, I taught at Elliott Elementary for 4 years.  I attended Nebraska Wesleyan University here in Lincoln where I majored in Elementary Education and double majored in Special Education. I graduated with my Masters in Educational Administration at UNL in May, 2017. I have a passion for working with students with unique and challenging needs. I firmly believe that all children can learn and be successful; no matter their disability or challenges in their lives. I believe in individualization and not a “one size fits all” approach to working with students. If something isn’t working, we’ll find a way to fix it! If we work as a team, as teachers and families, we can meet all students’ needs. I work hard to get to know each of my families to better understand where they come from and how to best help their children and families.

If there is ever a question, concern, or something you would like to share with me, I am always available! The easiest and fastest way to reach me is via email but you can always call and leave a message and I will return it as soon as possible. We can always set up a time to meet face to face if you’d like as well.  I am happy to help in any way possible! Please don’t hesitate to contact me; I look forward to working with all of you this year! We are going to have an amazing year!
